Lavender Bath Fizzies

Lavender bath fizzies are so easy to make. They are very much like bath bombs but not as picky. I was able to make these on a humid day without any unwanted premature fizzing. I tried bath bombs the same day and they didn't work. The fizzies are fun and make baths much more exciting. It bubbled up so nice and the water was soft and smelled great. Maybe I'll become a bath person instead of a shower person.

Bath fizzies
Mix together
1/3 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon cornstarch
10 drops lavender essential oil or essential oil of your choice if desired.
(mix well then add)1/4 cup citric acid powder or crystals

Mix together and store in a jar with a tight lid on it. They need to be dry until you use them. Fill you tub with water, get in and add 1/4 of a cup to the bath water.

Note The essential oil may be added at the time of the bath instead if you want to make sure the fizz effect isn't triggered. I didn't have any problems with the oil, but you never know. And you can add whatever scent you desire at that time.

This would make a nice gift and is just a nice way to spoil yourself. You deserve it! Enjoy! :)
