Lavender Bath Oils

Lavender bath oils are not only good for the skin, they can have different therapeutic effects. You can change the essential oil to the mood you're in or what you need at the time. Here are a few I like, using carrier oils and essential oils.

Recipe # 1 Warming
1 teaspoon carrier oil
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 drop ginger essential oil
1 drop peppermint essential oil

This is a warming blend. This is very nice in the cold winter months. The Lavender is healing to the skin, the peppermint is energizing, and the ginger warming, sharpens the senses and helps with those aches and pains. This is also very good for nausea.

Recipe # 2 Meditating
1 teaspoon carrier oil
2 drops of lavender essential oil
1 drop Frankincense essential oil
2 drops sweet orange oil

This blend is great for the skin and is very supportive of prayer and meditation.

Recipe # 3 Sinus Helper
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
1 drop peppermint oil
1 drop tea tree oil
1 drop eucalyptus oil (I use eucalyptus globulus)

I use this when I feel a cold or sinus congestion coming on. It's anti viral and anti fungal. Works for headaches.

Recipe # 4 Burnout
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
1 drop grapefruit oil
1 drop peppermint oil
1 drop rosemary oil

This one is good for burnout when life gets to hectic. It helps refresh the spirit and sharpens the mind.

Recipe # 5 Builds Confidence
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops bay laurel oil
1 drops orange oil

This is a wonderful uplifting scent that makes me feel better and feel more creative.

Recipe # 6 Reduces Mental fatigue
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops sweet orange oil
1 drop rosemary oil

I find this makes me relax and uplifts my mood at the same time. This is also good on the skin.

Recipe #7 Spicy Scent
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
1 drop cinnamon leaf oil (not bark)
1 drop clove oil
1 drop sweet orange oil

This reminds me of Christmas. I love the spicy scent. Helps to stimulate the circulatory , cardiac, and respiratory systems This blend is also anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial.

Recipe # 8 Memory Helper
2 teaspoons carrier oil
2 drops lavender oil
1 drop patchouli oil
1 drop peppermint oil
1 drop rosemary oil

This is good if you have to concentrate and learn things. Plus it smells great!

Recipe # 9 Calming
2 teaspoons carrier oil
5 drops lavender oil

This is an all purpose, can't go wrong lavender bath oil. It's especially good for stress.

Lavender bath oils are really nice on the skin. I love using them in my bath water or even directly on my skin after a shower.
