Lavender sugar is so easy to make and can be used in any recipe instead of regular sugar. This is one way to make your own original recipes. It's fun!
If you already have crushed or chopped lavender buds add about 1 tablespoon to 2 cups of sugar. Place in a glass jar, stir or shake to mix and store for a couple of days. The sugar will pick up the lavender scent and flavor. This keeps very well!
If you don't have your lavender buds chopped or crushed ahead , no problem. Just take about 1 cup of the sugar and the lavender and toss in your food processor or use your coffee grinder until the lavender buds are broken up.
Try this sprinkled on toast, crepes,
or whatever your imagination can come up with. The sky is the limit!
